Baby Animal Days

Baby Animal Days was a lot of fun. It was raining and snowing like crazy though . . . so our crowds were sparse. There were some tough families though and it was my job to paint their faces and make them balloon animals! This was fun, it was cute to see all of the kids come through the line excited and impressed by my limited paint face skills. We were called back the next weekend since the first weekend was not as they had thought it would be. Again, it was a good time. I would recommend to families that they should go and also for college kids to volunteer, it was a good excuse for me to go to Baby Animal Days! Here are some itty bitty turtles that they let you hold.

The paper doll girl is my little sister Grace, her class was doing a Flat Stanley project. She decided to mail her Flat Grace to me so that I could take pictures of her hanging out with me! And this is me and her together holding a turtle. Just as a reminder . . . I was in charge of face painting and what better way to make kids excited about getting their face painted than to paint your own face!

They also have balloon flowers, animals and lots of other things for you to get!

And birds!

And bigger turtles . . .

Don't worry, I really did do stuff at Baby Animal Days besides hang out and take pictures!

Here is one of the baby bears that was there, he was here from Bear World and was so sweet!
