Centro de la familia

Centro de la Familia is a program in Providence, Utah that helps kids who are Hispanic to learn both in Spanish and in English while at school. Storytellers would visit them Friday mornings. It was a blast! We would read books and plan activities for the kids to do. They were all pretty young so the activities were simple and they moved fast. It was fun to have the kids teach me some Spanish. We would learn the Spanish words for the main vocabulary of the books and we would talk about the English and the Spanish word.
